The Blancpain Endurance Series will have an almost identical calendar in 2015, SRO boss Stephane Ratel confirmed on Friday.
The meetings at Monza, Silverstone, Paul Ricard, Spa and the Nurburgring will occupy the same weekends next season as they did this year, the sole change being that the 1,000km/six-hour race shifts from the season finale at the Nurburgring to the pre-Spa 24 Hours Paul Ricard event.
That leaves the 2015 calendar looking as follows:
Monza (three hours) – 12 April
Silverstone (three hours) – 24 May
Paul Ricard (six hours) – 28 June
Spa (24 hours) – 25-26 July
Nurburgring (three hours) – 20 September
Unlike last year, Ratel did not have a finalised Sprint Series calendar to present. New events in Italy, Germany, Russia and Brazil are under consideration, competing with the existing roster of Nogaro, Silverstone, Zandvoort, Slovakiaring, Portimao, Zolder and Baku.
The final Sprint Series calendar is expected to be confirmed by the end of September.
