The seemingly increasingly controversial FIA Driver Ratings, a combined list which replaced the previous FIA WEC, FIA GT3 and IMSA lists for the 2015 season have been (all but!) finalised with some significant changes announced, and, as usual, some controversial decisions.
Amongst the changes there are new Platinum rated drivers as Earl Bamber, Joao Barbosa, Tom Blomquist, Maxi Buhk, Maxi Goetz, Pierre Kaffer, Christopher Mies and Harry Tincknell are all elevated to the top echelon.
A number of Nissan GT Academy graduates feature in the changes too thanks to racing success in 2015: Nic Hamman, Gaetan Paletou (below) and Ricardo Sanchez are all ranked now as Silver with Wolfgang Reip and Mark Shulzhitskiy now ranked Gold
Roman Rusinov is re-ranked back to Silver after a single season as a Gold, this despite taking the WEC LMP2 title in the season under most recent review, the Russian having provided the FIA with data to support his case for a downgrading.
Heading in the opposite direction up form Silver to Gold is late WEC season Signatech signing Tom Dillmann.
Scott Pruett meanwhile is ranked down to Silver on age grounds despite continuing success at the highest level of US sportscar racing.
Eric van de Poele, Andy Pilgrim and Terry Borcheller too are amongst those ranked down to Silver on age grounds
Bill Sweedler and Benny Simonsen are amongst some significant names elevated from Bronze to Silver Status
