With thanks to Mat Fernandez a new video interview with Ghislain Robert, Le Mans Resort Director outlines plans for a new fan area overlooking Indianapolis corner, a development enabled by the current works to build a new public road to bypass Arnage corner (below).
“This area is cherished by fans. They really appreciate this place. We are going to improve it by enhancing their visibility of the track. It will be particularly true at Indianapolis: we will permit fans to watch the race there, up until now, this was not possible.”
No further details are given, and there is no confirmation yet that the new viewing area will be available this year, though with the pace of work on the new road that seems likely.
