Attempto Racing – Porsche 911 GT3 R – Blancpain Endurance Series
Nicholas Armindo was happy to chat about progress with the new Porsche 911 GT3 R that he will campaign with Jurgen Haring, the pair set for a full season in the Blancpain Endurance Series.
“It’s very, very new, and there is a lot of work to do here and before the season to unlock the potential of the car but it is clearly a very good car, well balanced and easy to drive. We just need to find the speed.”
At present the Attempto entered car is the only Porsche committed to the Endurance Cup with the Pro-Am Team a-workx car (not present at the test) for Sebastian Asch and Dietmar Ulrich confirmed for The Misano Sprint Cup season opener.
There is a fair amount of paddock gossip here though that Porsche is considering a Spa 24 Hours effort, not least because the brand is struggling to break back in to SRO competition. If that’s true it leaves some very interesting discussions and diplomacy ahead if current full season feathers aren’t to be ruffled!
