Chinese GT Championship Entry Details & More

With thanks to DSC’s man in Asia we now have some more information on the Test Day last Monday (at Beijing Goldenport Circuit) for the forthcoming Chinese GT Championship.

We can confirm that at this stage thee were no more than a dozen cars running but Championship organisers say they have 9 teams committed for the season and are looking for a 10th team to complete the grid.

Not unusually for China details are tough to come by of some entries with the likelihood that several teams and drivers will commit at the last minute.

Confirmed Entries (that took part in the Test Day).

Spirit Z, Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ,2013 British F3 National Class champion Sun Zheng and Dongfeng Honda CTCC driver Zou Si Rui. Believed to be an ex BMAX car with some technical support from Japan.

LRacing 300+ Audi R8 LMS (Cup spec). No drivers yet announced.

Leo 300+ Racing (same team as LRacing 300+ but they race under a different name), two Lamborghini Huracan Supertrofeo, Former Formula 2 driver David Zhu and his young brother Zhu Hu An (also did some single seater races in Europe) will drive together with Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and CTCC VW factory driver Zhang Zhen Dong.

(The team ran at the test day with Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeos and did not have a smooth day!).
