Aaron Mason Signs With Brookspeed For Gulf 12 Hours

Two seats filled for the Middle-Eastern endurance race

British GT driver Aaron Mason has become the second driver to sign with Brookspeed for its attack on the Gulf 12 Hours later this month. Team principal Martin Braybrook told DSC that Mason will pilot the team’s #40 Porsche Cayman Clubsport GT4 in the race, alongside team regular Graeme Mundy.

Mason has two Volkswagen Racing Cup GB titles to his name, as well as a one-off outing in the BTCC with AMD Miltek Racing back in 2013.

This year the Doncaster native completed a partial season campaign in the British GT Championship driving with RCIB Insurance Racing in its #75 Ginetta G55 GT4. In the process, Mason scored a class podium at Oulton Park and won GT4 otright at Silverstone alongside Robert Barrable.

This leaves four seats left to be filled in the team’s pair of Caymans on the entry list. The team is using the Gulf 12 Hours to prepare for its debut at the Bathurst 12 Hours next February.

The Gulf 12 Hours is due to run from the 14th to the 17th of December on the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
