The identity of the personality to be announced as honorary starter for the 2017 Le Mans 24 Hours is set to be made officially at the ACO’s Friday Press Conference, Damon Hill is here on site, the 1996 F1 World Champion would be a worthy recipient for the honour, however we’re left wondering why there would be a parking space marked out for current F1 supremo Chase Carey!
Whether here as an honoured invitee with a honorary role or not this is a very positive sign.
