Andy Meyrick is set to return to the Total 24 Hours of Spa this year, after signing with Team Parker Racing to drive its #31 Bentley Continental GT3 for what will be his sixth start in the Belgian endurance classic.

In the race, which will be his second with the team at Spa, the former Bentley factory driver will compete with 2017 British GT Champion Sebastian Morris, Derek Pierce and 2017 Le Mans GTE Am winner Rob Smith in the Endurance Cup’s Pro-Am class.

“Really excited to be racing at Spa again this year as I believe it’s the toughest 24-hour race in the world,” said Meyrick. “To be there with Team Parker Racing and driving a Bentley is fantastic. The team have had a great deal of success so far this season with the current driver line-up and I look forward to joining them and taking on the challenge.”

Team principal Stuart Parker added: “We’re very pleased to have Andy back with us for Spa this year. Andy is a talented driver and with his experience of the Bentley and that he knows and gets on well with our team, he is a great addition for the race.”

The 70th edition of the Spa 24 Hours is set to run from 26-29 of July.
