IMSA has released the entry list for the 68th edition of the Sebring 12 Hours, which features 37 cars across the four classes.
This number is down a single car from the 38-car field that headed to Daytona back in January for the opening round of the season.
There aren’t many notable changes from the field that raced in Daytona, though there are plenty of driver changes to track.
In GTLM, Risi Competizione’s new-look driver crew is the main headline.
At Daytona, the team raced with Alessandro Pier Guidi, Daniel Serra, James Calado and Davide Rigon. Due to the FIA WEC meeting taking place on the same weekend, only Serra returns for Round 2, joined by new Ferrari factory driver Nicklas Nielsen in its 488 GTE EVO up against the three factory teams.
Nielsen will also take part in the WEC race, driving in the GTE Am class in AF Corse’s championship-leading Ferrari.
In the 17-car-strong GTD category meanwhile, there is just one notable driver change, in the Black Swan Racing Porsche, Larry ten Voorde set to drive with Jeroen Bleekemolen and Tim Pappas. This appearance for ten Voorde follows two impressive runs in the FIA WEC with Bleekemolen at Team Project 1.
There is also a single TBA in the Precision Performance Motorsports’ Lamborghini Huracan, the third driver who will race with Brandon Gdovic and Mark Kvamme has yet to be added.
The prototype field features little to report too. The five LMP2 cars entered all feature three drivers apiece. Will Owen will join PR1/Mathiasen and former CORE autosport DPi man Colin Braun will drive for Era Motorsport for the first time.
DPi’s eight-car entry features no notable changes.
The only car that is missing from Daytona final’s entry is the #98 Aston Martin Racing Vantage, which was not expected to race at Sebring due to Paul Dalla Lana’s FIA WEC commitments in GTE Am.
