All the detail is in the video linked below but the 2020 IMSA State of the Sport Address from IMSA President John Doonan today confirms the proposed Calendars for the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship and all of the organisations supporting Series.
There’s also confirmation that new ‘Gen 2’ LMP3 cars will be incorporated into the Championship at all four Endurance events (with the Rolex 24 Hours acting as a standalone, non-Championship event for the LMP3s as well as the LMP2s). LMP2s and LMP3s will contest a six-race Series at Sebring, Mid Ohio, Watkins Glen, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Road America and Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta
