TF Sport is to make their IMSA racing debut at the 2021 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona with an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the GTD class.
Daytona double-duty man Ben Keating will be joined by 24 Hours of Le Mans class winner Charlie Eastwood, Rolex 24 class winner Richard Westbrook and promising GT youngster Maxwell Root.
TF Sport’s entry will be a guest appearance in 2021 but the team have their eye on running full-season IMSA campaigns in the future.
Following on from the GTE-AM class win at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, TF Sport is confident for a strong showing at the world-renowned twice around the clock race in Florida.
The ‘Roar Before the Rolex 24’ (including the recently announced 100-minute qualifying race for the Rolex 24) will take place on January 22-24, with the practice for the race week proper beginning on the following Thursday, the 24 Hours itself running from 30-31 January.

Ben Keating, Bronze Driver: “This will be my 11th Rolex 24 at Daytona and it’s my favourite race of the year!
“I know that my first Le Mans experience came on the heels of me winning the Rolex 24, so why not be with TF Sport at their first Rolex 24 experience, on the heels of just winning at Le Mans?
“I have never driven the Aston Martin, but I competed against them all year long and was very impressed with the GTE car – I expect that the GT3 car will handle similarly. What’s not to love about this program?!”
Maxwell Root, Silver Driver: “After competing at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, I knew I wanted to tick another 24-hour race off my list!
“I’m excited to be racing for TF Sport and with Ben, Richard and Charlie, after battling against them all earlier this year. I’m hugely grateful to Matter and Speed Motorsport Management for their support towards my Daytona debut.”
Charlie Eastwood, Gold Driver: “Really looking forward to competing at Daytona. It’ll be the first race for the team and I in America, outside of the World Endurance Championship.
After winning both the Total 24 Hours of Spa and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it would be great to take the victory at Daytona and complete the trio and I think we’ve got a really good chance!
“Even though I haven’t driven with any of my teammates before, I believe together we’re a very strong line-up and January couldn’t come soon enough!”
Richard Westbrook, Platinum Driver: “I’ve been friends with Tom forever but this will be the first time I’ve raced for TF, so it’ll be odd him being my boss!
“The team have done so well over the last few years and with their current form and our line-up, we’ll certainly be looking for a victory. What makes Daytona special is the atmosphere, it’s the first race of the year so everybody is excited to get going again!”
