With the second day of ELMS pre-season testing underway on track at Circuit de Catalunya today, the rear end of the paddock is getting busier as the Michelin Le Mans Cup contenders set up ahead of their test sessions tomorrow here.
That gives us the first opportunity to see some of the new-look efforts, and indeed entirely new efforts the we’ll see throughout the 2021 season – and a colourful bunch they make!
First up Team Thor with their brand spanking new Ligier JS P320, a delighted owner/ driver Audunn Gudmundsson looking forward to the track time ahead this week.
Black Falcon’s almost equally new Ligier meanwhile looks good too in its ‘cam’ effect livery.
Just off the truck and ready for some TLC meanwhile is the first Adess 03 Evo set to race, the R-Breizh Competition #56 car.
Team Virage meanwhile has matched the ELMS LMP3 livery on their pair of MLMC contenders.
The TS Corse Duqueiene looks stunning in a 1960s F1 Lotus sort of way!
And, with another Duqueine, one of a two-car entry alongside the car seen in Asian Le Mans Series competition, is the Wochenspiegel Team Monschau Duqueine, and it looks fantastic too!
Racing Spirit of Leman are no longer the service supplier to COOL Racing, instead, they are here in their own right with this Ligier.
Whilst just around the corner is the new look Cool Racing with a pair of LMP3 Ligiers and the JS 2R set to race in the Ligier European Series at the weekend.
