Jim Glickenhaus has confirmed that the race debut for the first of his SCG 007 Hypercars at the FA WEC round at Portimao next month will see 2016 FIA WEC Drivers World Champion Romain Dumas returns to the Championship alongside Ryan Briscoe and Richard Westbrook.
The trio will race the #709 Glickenhaus in Portugal for the 8 hour event whilst the sister #708 car, after a planned 30 hour test at Motorland Aragon (where the Glickenhaus is set to be joined on track by the #82 Risi Competition Oreca as that team shakes down ahead of their appearances at Monza and Le Mans) is set to be demoed at the Nürburgring 24 Hours before a full rebuild to prepare for its race debut at Monza alongside the #709.
The #708 will also be demonstrated at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with a run up the hill at the UK event.
