Here are the first shots – with thanks to our friend Fausto Mattei, of a significantly modified Porsche 911 GT3 R, presumed to be the 992-based replacement for the current Porsche Motorsport GT3 offering.
For comparison the unpainted car shown below is the then as-yet unlaunched 2019 GT3R testing at Monza in 2018.

Compared to the current 911 GT3 R, launched in 2019, this car has a significantly modified air intake on the leading edge of the rear wheelarch, actually more similar to the current 911 RSR GTE car.
Other major visual differences include a completely new ‘swan-neck’ rear wing support (a feature replicated on test versions of the new 911 GT3 RS road car) and a NACA duct behind the B pillar providing airflow into the cockpit.
