Nissan Set To Replace Record-Breaking R35 Type NISSAN GT-R GT500 For 2022

Nissan have announced that they are set to change the model that will be fielded in the GT500 class for the 2022 SUPER GT series.

That marks the end of the road for the GT500 version of the iconic R35 type NISSAN GT-R at the final round of the 2021 season to be held at Fuji Speedway on Sunday, November 28th.

Nissan have not made any announcement yet of the model that will replace the R35.

The GT500 specification NISSAN GT-R, designed and developed by NISMO, debuted in 2008 winning a total of 41 times in 14 seasons making it the most successful car in GT500 class history.
