We’re not yet in 2022 but there are plenty of teams in the next phase of planning for the season to come.
At least two significant LMP2 teams have been out testing in preparation for the season.
Algarve Pro Racing have been in action at Estoril with at least one car with young Danish talent Malthe Jacobsen amongst those at the wheel.
At Paul Ricard meanwhile, the new-for-2022 Prema PowerTeam LMP2 effort have been in action in their newly acquired Oreca, bound for both the ELMS and FIA WEC.
Multiple social media images appear to show that Louis Deletraz was at the wheel for at least one session. Robert Kubica was also at Paul Ricard and has been pictured with Iron Lynx staff with social media posts from Sophia Floersch and Juan Manuel Correia confirming that they too drove at the Prema test.
2021 ELMS Champion (with WRT) Kubica tested an Iron Lynx GTE car at the Bahrain post-season test but has since confirmed on social media that he will race in LMP2 in 2022.
