Inter-Europol Return To Asian Le Mans Series

Single LMP3 for 2018/19 Champions

Inter Europol Competition team will return to the Asian Le Mans Series for the 2022 season with a single LMP3 class Ligier JS P 320.

On their Series debut in the 2018-2019 season, the team won the LMP3 title launching the Polish-flagged squad to an entry in the Le Mans 24 Hours.

In 2020 the team entered two LMP3s and two LMP2s in the series, but due to COVID missed the 2021 season.

Inter Europol have already confirmed an expanded LMP2 effort in 2022 with their return to the FIA WEC with a single ORECA matched by a parallel effort in the ELMS. An ELMS LMP3 effort is also expected.

Sascha Fassbender (team manager): “We are very pleased to be back in the Asian Le Mans Series. We have great memories of 2019, when Kuba Smiechowski and Martin Hippe won the championship in our #13 LMP3 and our first entry to Le Mans that same year. We are looking forward to return next year with another crew that has the potential to win the Asian Le Mans Series.”

More LMP entry news from DSC very shortly.
