ID Racing is Iris Dorr’s newly founded team, the ex MRS GT Team manager now fielding a team of her own with the first season in 2022 seeing a double programme in ADAC GT Masters and Porsche Carrera Cup Germany.
The squad will field a Porsche 911 GT3 R for the German GT Championship joining ZVO Racing, Allied Racing and Madpanda Motorsport as newcomer teams named so far for 2022.
Whilst the team is new, the crew have been assembled from the experienced MRS GT-Racing squad which scored three victories in the ADAC GT Masters from 2011, 2020 including at the 200th race of the Championship at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Dorr has been active in motorsport for 30 years. First, as a driver, later as a manager, now as the owner.
Iris Dorr: “The entire team is looking forward to the upcoming ADAC GT Masters season with great confidence and full of anticipation. The level of performance in this series is very high, but our team has already gained a lot of experience and is very well attuned to each other. We are currently still in the process of agreeing on our driver line-up. We will soon be announcing which pilots will take the wheel for us. ID Racing is really looking forward to finally getting started in just under three months.”
