Kessel Racing has revealed another of its driver line-ups for the 2022 International GT Open. The Swiss squad is back to the series where it achieved many successes in the past and is hoping for much of the same this year!
The Ferrari 488 GT3 will be entrusted to the all-British duo formed by Omar Jackson and Charlie Hollings. After a long break, Omar re-started his racing career in recent years, obtaining promising results in the Ferrari Challenge Europe and the Italian GT. His teammate is professional GT racer and former UK GT Cup champion, Charlie, who brings his great experience gained in a wide array of series including WEC, British GT, European GT4, VLN and 24 Hours Series.
Omar Jackson commented: “Since returning to racing, I have been building up to this opportunity in the GT3 format of racing with one of the best teams in motorsport and of course Ferrari. I am proud to be British but also to be representing Dubai and UAE, which I have called home for the last 10 years. My sponsors are a big part of making this happen with me and together, I am confident for a successful year ahead. Charlie and I have been working hard for some time to prepare for the challenges that we will face this season and we both look forward to being very competitive.”
Jackson-Hollings join Ziemian-Jefferies who are already confirmed by Kessel Racing for this season.
