New Ferrari 296 GT3 Rolls Out At Fiorano

Today saw the debut on the track for the Ferrari 296 GT3 at Ferrari’s test track at Fiorano with two-time world champion Alessandro Pier Guidi and Andrea Bertolini entrusted with the very first test of Ferrari’s new for 2023 GT3 machine, the replacement for the current 488 GT3.

The car, designed in-house by Ferrari, will be assembled by ORECA at a new facility in Signes close to the Circuit Paul Ricard.

First at the wheel was Alessandro Pier Guidi, with Bertolini also taking a turn during the first days running as the long process of systems checks and validation began.

Antonello Coletta, Head of Ferrari Attivita Sportive GT:

“Today marks the occasion of GT racing becoming part of our future, and it’s a special moment. We chose to carry out the first tests in Fiorano because it’s our home and to allow the people who worked on the project to share a very special emotion. The car has an intense testing program ahead of it, but we’ve already had some good feedback from this first session.:
