The outline timetable for on-track action – plus the return of the City Centre formalities, for the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans has been confirmed:
The condensed format, integrating the Test Day into the weekend before race week, has been retained, but with the return of the scrutineering and administrative checks to the Place de la Republique in central Le Mans (scrutineering has taken place at the track for the past two years).
The Porsche Sprint Challenge – a French -organised race featuring all-Am crews Porsche Cup and GT3 cars initially understood to be a part of the support programme in 2022, is not currently listed on the outline schedule.

Action then moves back to the circuit with the mandatory Test Day taking place on the Sunday with two four hour on-track sessions for all runners.
Sunday 5 June

After two days of paddock preparation action returns on the Wednesday with the full circuit closed to public use from early that morning until the end of the race on Sunday evening.
