Chatin Set To Replace Ogier In Richard Mille Racing ORECA

Richard Mille Racing are set to confirm that Paul-Loup Chatin will replace the departing Sebastien Ogier in the #1 Richard Mille Racing Team ORECA 07, likely for all three remaining races of the 2022 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Chatin will add the WEC programme to his existing commitments with IDEC Sport Le Mans Series meaning that he will race on consecutive weekends next month at Monza as the ELMS round (replacing the Hungaroring on the calendar) and WEC events take place on 3 and 10 July respectively.

Double ELMS Drivers Champion Chatin raced in the WEC at Monza last year as a late replacement for the COVID-positive Giedo van der Garde in the Racing Team Nederland effort. He last appeared in a part season WEC effort with a three- race spell in the Baxi DC Racing Alpine in 2016 after a full season the previous year with Signatech Alpine that produced a race win at Shanghai.

He will join Lilou Wadoux and Charles Milesi in the #1 ORECA.
