ARC Bratislava Team Manager Injured In Rally Accident

FIA WEC LMP2 team ARC Bratislava’s long-time team manager Michaela Dorcikova is recovering after a serious accident in Rally Rzeszow in Poland after her Subaru WRX left the road.

Both Michaela and her co-driver Tomáš Klima were hurt in the accident, Michaela suffering a fractured L1 vertebrae which required surgery before she is to be able to be transferred home to Slovakia.

We wish them both a speedy and comfortable recovery.

In separate news, Topcats Racing co-owner and GT Cup front-runner Warren Gilbert has returned home from hospital after suffering significant injuries in a testing accident in his Lamborghini Huracan ahead of the latest race weekend for the Series.

Get well soon Warren.

Konrad And Pegasus Consider Multi-Car Entries For Prototype Cup Germany

After a guest appearance at the Nurburgring round of the Prototype Cup Germany last month, Pegasus Racing are considering further outings in 2022 and into 2023, possibly with two Ligiers.

Konrad Racing meanwhile arrived at the Nurburgring with a pair of Ginetta LMP3s, both ran in Free Practice but only one raced.

The team though are looking at opportunities to double up in the future too.

Sports Prototype Cup

The Sports Prototype Cup has added two new dates to their 2022 calendar.
