The ELMS cars are on track today in Barcelona for their regular pre-race meeting collective test sessions.
Temperatures are in the ‘uncomfortably warm’ range and set to remain that way through to race day on Sunday.
We’ve already outlined the planned changes ahead of the weekend but there are a few more to confirm:
Locally-based Dane Anders Fjordbach is a late replacement for this race for an absent Reshad de Gerus in the #30 Duqueine Team Oreca alongside Memo Rojas and Richard Bradley.
And Guatemalan racer Ian Rodríguez replaces Jazeman Jafaar in the #51 Team Virage Oreca, this is understood to be a move for the remainder of the season. Rodríguez is the regular partner to Rob Hodes in a Team Virage Ligier in the 2022 Michelin Le Mans Cup.
Finally for now the #33 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari is a no show here with the unavailability of Christian Hook this weekend.
That sees a 40-car entry for Sunday’s 4-hour race.
