GetSpeed have revealed the driver line-up and livery that they will field for their single-car Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo entry in the Gulf 12 Hours at the Yas Marina Circuit next month (Dec 9-11).
Al Faisal Al Zubair, Fabian Schiller and Luca Stolz will crew the #77 AMG.
“We are constantly looking for new challenges. The Gulf 12 Hours have developed into a very good event over the past ten years,” says team boss Adam Osieka. “Almost three dozen GT3 cars will take part on the fascinating Formula 1 circuit in Abu Dhabi. We compete to win. After our very good performance in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring and in Spa-Francorchamps, we see good chances of continuing our run in long-distance races this year.”
Al Faisal and Schiller recently won the season finale of the International GT Open together whilst Luca Stolz was part of the successful GetSpeed squad at Spa-Francorchamps. “I’m convinced that we can have a say about victory,” says Osieka. “Even if it’s the premiere for us and the competition is tough, we don’t shy away from sporting competition.”
