All nine of the new GTP cars set to contest the 2023 Rolex 24 Hours At Daytona are in the process of being unloaded at Daytona International Speedway ahead of two days of testing on Tuesday and Wednesday.
At least eight of the nine too are fully liveried, at the time of writing the #31 Action Express/ Whelen Cadillac had not been unloaded.
Porsche Penske Motorsport are back with the two cars that tested here earlier in the week numbered #7 and #963.
Three LMP2 class ORECA 07s are also on site for comparative testing with a single car apiece from TDS Racing, Tower Motorsport and PR1 Mathisen.
And there is a trio of GTD cars here too with all of the new cars and Evo versions of existing cars required to test here for the sanctioning body to determine a starting BoP.
AF Corse have brought a new Ferrari 296 GT3, Pfaff Motorsport’s 2023 contender, the #9 Porsche 911 GT3 R (Type 992) is here in full livery in the wake of confirmation this morning that Klaus Bachler and Patrick Pilet will contest the full season, joined by Laurens Vanthoor for the enduros.
Lamborghini Squadra Corse are here in force with a single, and very new looking, Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2, the car labelled as a K-Pax racing car and here with the support of Flying Lizards motorsport, K-Pax’s regular racing partners.
