As trailed by Marshall Pruett on RACER.com and then again on #TWISC, The Week In Sportscars podcast, Indycar stars Scott McLaughlin and Josef McLaughlin, and 2022 Petit Le Mans GTD race winner Kyffin Simpson will join 2022 IMSA LMP2 Drivers Champion John Marano in the #8 Tower Motorsports Oreca 07 for the 2023 Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Whilst there is no announcement of either the full season line-up (the LMP2 Championship does not include the Rolex 24), or of the line-up for the team for the Le Mans 24 Hours, where Farano has an automatic invitation, there is every likelihood that the selected crew could include one, other, or both, of Newgarden and McLaughlin, both of whom will make their Rolex 24 debut.
