UK-based GT3 team, 7TSIX, is to enter the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup in only its second season of competition.
The Yorkshire-based squad the team will build on a 2022 British GT Championship effort, an outing in the GT Open at Monza that yielded podium finishes, and another class podium outing at the Dubai 24H with their first full-season European campaign with their McLaren 720S GT3 Evo.
Joe Edge, 7TSIX team owner: “It has been a really exciting journey so far for 7TSIX, and we are only one year in with plenty more to come. We used the first season to gain important and varied experience across different championships in the first year, and using every event to move forward. I think we have surprised a few people with our performances so far, and we are looking to keep that going into 2023. GT World Challenge Europe is one of the most exciting and demanding championships in GT3 competition, and I am excited for the team and our potential with the confirmation of our entry.
“We are currently reviewing the options to put together the most competitive line-up for the season, deciding which class we will challenge for and open to talking to other drivers. The one thing we are sure of is that we will not be here to simply make up the numbers. You only really see how you compare to the best, when you race directly against them, and we will be looking to fight at the front”.
