Cetilar Racing Outlines 2024 IMSA Plans

Fuoco and Cheever join Lacorte and Sernagiotto

Cetilar Racing has outlined its 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship plans, the Italian team set to compete in GTD with its Ferrari 296 GT3 for a third consecutive season, in all five Michelin Endurance Cup events.

The Italian team, which will receive support from AF Corse next year, is set to race throughout the season once again with current Ferrari Hypercar driver Antonio Fuoco, Roberto Lacorte and Giorgio Sernagiotto. At the Rolex 24 Hours specifically, the team will welcome Eddie Cheever III as its fourth driver.

Last season with Fuoco, Lacorte and Sernagiotto, Cetilar took part in the four-round Endurance Cup campaign with a highest finish of 13th in the season finale at Road Atlanta.

“The 2023 season was not easy. We were aware of it from the beginning, but it served to develop the car to take a step forward compared to our competitors,” commented Roberto Lacorte.

“Cetilar Racing was the first to hit the track with the Ferrari 296 GT3, making history with this car, and now we aim to do even better.”
