DKR Engineering has become the latest team to confirm its Le Mans 24 Hours driver line-up ahead of the full entry reveal, which is expected next week.
The Luxembourg-flagged team is set to compete at La Sarthe with the trio of Alexander Mattschull, Laurents Hörr and Rene Binder in its ORECA, which will compete in what DSC expects will be a boosted LMP2 Pro/Am field for the race.
Among the teams currently listed for LMP2, DSC believes both Panis Racing and Duqueine Engineering have requested a switch to LMP2 Pro/Am for the race, with Rodrigo Sales and John Falb respectively nominated as Bronze-rated drivers.
For DKR, only Hörr joins the team for the 24 Hours from its full-season ELMS crew, which features Cem Bolukbasi and Andres Latorre Canon.
Mattshull did however compete alongside Hörr in the team’s ORECA during the 2023/24 Asian Le Mans Series season.
