McLaren Automotive has confirmed the calendar for the 2025 McLaren Trophy Europe season. The schedule features 10 rounds at five venues across the continent, including a first visit to the Unied Kingdom.
The 2025 schedule will kick off in the UK with a visit to Brands Hatch in Kent during May, before visits to Monza, Spa-Francorchamps for races supporting the Spa 24 Hours, the Nürburgring and then finally Paul Ricard for a pair of sprints alongside the French GT Championship.
“Having established McLaren Trophy, Europe as a competitive and social environment for Bronze and Silver drivers we are delighted to confirm our 2025 calendar,” said Mick McDonagh, the director of MSO and motorsport at McLaren Automotive.
“In addition to visiting many of the continent’s best circuits, I’m thrilled that we will be racing in the UK for the first time, commencing the season at the legendary Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, 40 years on from Alain Prost winning the Formula 1 World Championship with McLaren at the same venue.
“It’s also fantastic that the third season of McLaren Trophy, Europe will continue to support the 24 Hours of Spa. This race, together with the 24 Hours of Le Mans is hugely important to our brand and we hope to see many more McLaren Trophy drivers follow the career path of Brendan Iribe, who made his competition debut with us and has now raced a McLaren at both 24-hour events.”
Established in 2023, McLaren Trophy is a one-make championship for the Artura Trophy and is open to Bronze and Silver drivers. Its race format consists of 50-minute races with mandatory pitstops for driver changes.
In addition to the Trophy championship in Europe, McLaren has also established McLaren Trophy America for 2025, which will visit five key US venues as part of World Challenge America’s support package.
All McLaren Trophy races will be live streamed on the McLaren Automotive YouTube channel.
