While teams load out for the 27th annual Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Chip Ganassi Racing has turned up with a special pink livery for its Cadillac V-Series.R prototype.
It’s the same car exhibited during the WEC Lone Star Le Mans (6 Hours of COTA) to commemorate Pink Cadillac Day on 1 September, which will be raced this weekend by the trio of Renger van der Zande, Sebastien Bourdais, and Scott Dixon in lieu of the team’s traditional golden yellow livery.
Petit Le Mans will be the final race of Chip Ganassi Racing’s four-year affiliation with Cadillac and General Motors in IMSA.
