FEL Motorsports has announced the 2025 Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin (SCCC) and Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin (RCC) calendars, consisting of five double-header rounds for a total of 10 races in each series, at four venues across the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport) will once again host the opening and closing rounds of the season. The 2025 season opens with the Victoria Day SpeedFest at CTMP on 16–18 May and ends with the CTMP Labour Day Weekend Sprints on 29–31 August.
The Toronto street circuit at Exhibition Place will return to host the second round of the championship on 18–20 July, in support of the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto.
One week later, the picturesque Calabogie Motorsports Park, which returned to the SCCC calendar last season after a one-year absence, will host the third round of the championship on 25–27 July.
SCCC will also return to the historic Trois-Rivières street circuit for the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières, on 8–10 August. This time, Radical Cup Canada will join the SCCC as part of the weekend’s festivities.
“We are excited to once again offer a schedule that features five rounds per series at some of the premier events on the Canadian motorsports calendar. This focus allows our teams and drivers to enjoy what is a very short summer here in Canada while offering great competition at great tracks,” said Chris Bye, President of FEL Motorsports.
An Official Series Test Day has been scheduled at CTMP for Monday 5 May, two weeks before the opening round.
In an exclusive interview with DSC (the rest of which can be read here), Bye also gave some insight into the planning of each FEL Motorsports schedule.
“Our goal when we set the schedule is to do one race a month. As everyone’s well aware, our summer up here is quite short. We have a lot of teams that have boats and cottages and whatnot, so we try not to cram everyone’s summer at the race track. So one weekend a month is our goal,” he said.
He also addressed the series’ absence from the western provinces of Canada, citing a lack of FIA-sanctioned circuits and the logistical costs for the series’ teams that are exclusively based out of Ontario and Quebec.
“If there’s a sanctioned track out west we’ll certainly have a conversation, but it’s gotta make practical and economic sense for the teams as well. To ask the entire field to tow 3,000 miles each way, it’s not really practical,” Bye added.
