Iron Lynx has confirmed that it will defend its European Le Mans Series LMGT3 title in 2025 with a Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, following its recent switch from competing with Lamborghini in the FIA WEC.
The ELMS effort for the Italian team will complement its new-look two-car FIA WEC LMGT3 programme with the German marque in 2025.
It will follow a highly-successful 2024 ELMS season, in which it clinched the ELMS LMGT3 title in dramatic fashion by just two points with Andrea Caldarelli, Hiroshi Hamaguchi and Axcil Jefferies.
The team’s Mercedes in the ELMS will be entered as #63 and race with a driver crew headlined by former Peugeot Hypercar driver Gustavo Menezes (below).
The 30-year-old American joins Iron Lynx after taking part in the postseason FIA WEC Rookie Test at Bahrain International Circuit with the team.

“We achieved remarkable success in this championship, so we definitely have many good memories. We will also be lining up as the reigning champions, which is always motivating, but we have a lot of work ahead of us if we want to keep the same pace and stay competitive.
“We look forward to doing that work in the upcoming winter preparations and heading into the new season.”
The team is set to receive its ELMS-bound Mercedes soon and begin an off-season test programme ahead of the 2025 season opener in Barcelona next April.
