IMSA has released the provisional entry list for the 63rd annual Rolex 24 at Daytona, taking place on 25/26 January at Daytona International Speedway. A capacity grid of 61 cars across all four classes, headlined by 12 entries in the premier GTP class, has been revealed for the first time.

Among others, the GTP class will feature the debut of Wayne Taylor Racing’s two Cadillac V-Series.Rs, the return of Meyer Shank Racing and its pair of Acura ARX-06es, and despite uncertainty about the future of the Lamborghini SC63 prototype, the car will race at Daytona for the first time.
Former WEC drivers Mirko Bortolotti, Daniil Kvyat, and Edoardo Mortara will join returning IMSA driver Romain Grosjean in the #63 Lamborghini Iron Lynx SC63.
The list also confirms that Proton Competition will return with its #5 Porsche 963, to be driven by Gianmaria Bruni, Neel Jani, and a third driver to be named later. JDC-Miller MotorSports also returns with a privately-entered Porsche featuring Tijmen van der Helm and Bryce Aron as part of a line-up that will be finalised in the coming days.
Together, along with Cadillac Whelen (Action Express Racing) and BMW M Team RLL, they will look to battle against defending Daytona 24 Hours champions Porsche Penske Motorsport.
12 cars will battle for top honours in LMP2, all fielding ORECA 07s with the standard Gibson V8 engine. Era Motorsport won this race last year.
While United Autosports USA is still finalising the line-ups for its two cars, today’s entry list also confirms three drivers in the #88 PECOM Racing (AF Corse) entry: Luis Perez Companc, 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Nicklas Nielsen, and Mathieu Vaxiviere.
A massive 15-car entry list in GTD Pro is without the presence of defending class winners, Risi Competizione, but does feature nine makes and several one-off entries.
Among the new revelations, Proton Competition enters the #20 Porsche 911 GT3 R for Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni, Richard Lietz, and Thomas Preining.
GetSpeed has confirmed that Fabian Schiller and Luca Stolz will join Anthony Bartone in the Bartone Bros. Racing-branded #69 Mercedes-AMG GT3, along with an additional driver to be named later. They’ll also be joined in the Mercedes camp by 75 Express, with Kenny Habul, Mikaël Grenier, and Maro Engel announced as part of the line-up in the #75 Mercedes-AMG.
Paul Miller Racing has not yet announced the drivers of its two new BMW M4 GT3 EVOs, and likewise, Vasser Sullivan Racing will announce its drivers at a later date.
Completing the field is a 22-car GTD entry, headlined by Winward Racing, going for back-to-back class victories with the #57 Mercedes-AMG GT3. Russell Ward, Philip Ellis, and Indy Dontje return from last year’s winning effort, but Lucas Auer is also in the team, eager to avenge his injury-shortened run in 2023.
Daniel Morad, meanwhile, moves to Korthoff Competition Motors as the fourth driver in the #32 Mercedes-AMG.
IMSA WeatherTech newcomers van der Steur Racing have added Maxime Robin to the previously-announced duo of Rory van der Steur and Valentin Hasse-Clot in their #19 Aston Martin.
AF Corse will enter a total of three Ferrari 296 GT3s including one under the Cetilar Racing Banner. The #21 Ferrari features 2023 Le Mans 24H winner Alessandro Pier Guidi, Simon Mann, and SUPER GT Series team-mates Kei Cozzolino and Lilou Wadoux. Bronze drivers Roberto Lacorte and Custodio Toledo were the first announced in the #47 (Cetilar) and #50 (AF Corse) cars, with more to be revealed.
Triarsi Competizione has set the lineup for its #023 Ferrari featuring Onofrio Triarsi Jnr, Charles Scardina, Alessio Rovera, and Riccardo Agostini – while the new #021 Ferrari will announce its drivers later.
Ford Performance driver Joey Hand has been confirmed as the first of four drivers in the new #66 Gradient Racing Ford Mustang GT3, which replaces the team’s previous Acura NSX GT3 Evo22.
Brendan Iribe, Frederik Schandorff, and Ollie Millroy make up three-quarters of the trio in the #70 Inception Racing Ferrari, making its full-season debut.
Forte Racing have confirmed Misha Goikhberg in the #78 Lamborghini, and Lone Star Racing has announced Team Owner Dan Knox as a driver in the #80 Mercedes.
And Turner Motorsport retains Robby Foley and Patrick Gallagher to drive the #96 BMW M4 GT3 EVO alongside Jake Walker Jnr and Jens Klingmann for Daytona.
