The entry lists for the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance and Sprint Cup have been revealed by SRO this morning ahead of next week’s Prologue test at Paul Ricard in France.
Both fields are huge for 2025, with the Endurance Cup attracting 59 GT3 cars and the Sprint Cup welcoming an expanded 41-car grid for each round bar Brands Hatch, where limitations on paddock space mean the Bronze Cup cars will not take part. For that weekend in Kent, 32 cars will assemble.
The full-season entry list is also impressive, with 35 cars set to contest both series this year and 10 cars in the Pro class.
All nine of last year’s manufacturers return with Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche strongly represented.
They are joined by Corvette Racing, which is present for the first time since 2014 via British team Steller Motorsport, meaning the number of OEMs hits double figures.
For the Endurance races, the field is spread nicely across the four classes.
17 cars will contest the Pro class, making it the joint largest in the field along with the Silver category. Competition is set to be fierce, with eight manufacturers vying for the top prize.
Aston Martin will be represented by Centenary Spa 24 winner Comtoyou. Porsche has three teams, Schumacher CLRT, Rutronik and Pure Rxcing. Mercedes-AMG does too, with GetSpeed, Boutsen VDS and Winward. Two BMW M4s will be campaigned by ROWE and WRT. McLaren will fight with Garage 59 and CSA Racing. AF Corse will fly the flag for Ferrari. HRT brings a Ford Mustang GT3 to the field. And VSR and GRT will race with Lamborghini.
As for Audi, it will feature in each of the other categories, with Sainteloc Racing and Tresor Attempto combining for a five-car attack with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II.
And Corvette will fight in the 16-car Bronze Cup field with new team Steller, which will operate a pair of Z06 GT3.Rs.
Meanwhile, the Sprint Cup field will welcome a solid 13-car Pro field. It features entries from Aston Martin (Walkenhorst), BMW (WRT), Ferrari (AF Corse & Emil Frey Racing), Ford (HRT), McLaren (CSA & Garage 59), Mercedes-AMG (Boutsen VDS & Winward), Porsche (Rutronik) and Lamborghini (Barwell & GRT).
Seven cars will race in the Gold Cup, 11 in Silver and 10 cars have been entered in Bronze.
“I am immensely proud to share the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS entry lists for 2025,” said Stéphane Ratel, founder and CEO of SRO Motorsports Group.
“We have once again received huge interest in both the Sprint Cup and the Endurance Cup, while the participation of 10 manufacturers – all of which will compete in the global GT World Challenge powered by AWS – underlines the importance of this series.
“The grids have grown thanks to the addition of new teams and expansion among our existing competitors, which tells us that GT3 racing is in a very strong position as it approaches its 20th anniversary.
“It is also noteworthy that the field is more evenly spread, with no single class contributing above the others. With all of this in mind, I am certain that another extremely competitive season lies ahead.”
The 2025 GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS campaign gets underway with a six-hour Endurance Cup race at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11–13 April, while the Sprint Cup launches at Brands Hatch on 3/4 May.
Before the competitive action begins, Circuit Paul Ricard will host the traditional season Prologue on 10/11 March.
