Steller Motorsport Confirm Two Car Corvette Effort In GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup

Steller Motorsport has had a pair of entries confirmed for the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, as part of a bumper 59-car field revealed earlier today.

It marks the beginning of a significant new chapter for the UK-based team, as they embark on their first season running the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R.

The team’s entries, #24 and #42 will both compete in the highly competitive Bronze Cup class. In 2025, the Bronze Cup is set to feature 17 cars from 14 different teams.

It’s also an important milestone for SRO and GT World Challenge Europe, as Steller is the first team to enter a Corvette for the full season in championship history. The addition of Chevrolet means the grid contains at least 10 different manufacturers for the first time since 2020.

Steller will also take Chevrolet and Corvette back to the 24 Hours of Spa for the first time since 2011. The American marque has taken two overall victories at the Ardennes classic, in 2007 and 2009.

After taking delivery of its Corvettes over the Christmas period, the team has completed a comprehensive private testing programme in Spain, France and in the UK. This has given them plenty of valuable experience and data ahead of the forthcoming season. Following positive feedback from drivers and engineers alike, confidence is high at Steller Motorsport ahead of their 2025 campaigns.

The driver lineups for both cars will be announced in due course.

“Moving to the Corvette Z06 GT3.R is an exciting step for Steller Motorsport” commented team manager Max Daymond.

“It’s a brand-new car for us, but we’ve been hugely impressed with its performance during testing, and we’re confident it gives us a strong platform to use to fight at the sharp end in GT World Challenge Europe. Our entire team has worked tirelessly over the winter to be ready for the season ahead.

“While we’re excited to contest GT World Challenge Europe in the Endurance Cup, we are still evaluating all of our options for 2025, and will make more announcements in the coming weeks regarding our plans for the year.”

The 2025 GT World Challenge Europe season begins with the Prologue next week at Circuit Paul Ricard on 10/11 March. The same venue will host the six-hour season opener on 11-13 April.
