Steller Motorsport has announced they will enter the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup in 2025, alongside their two-car Endurance Cup entry.
The British outfit, which will run the Corvette Z06 GT3.R this season, had a pair of cars listed on the Endurance Cup entry list released last week.
They’ve now confirmed that this will be joined by a single car in the Sprint Cup, the first Z06 GT3.R to be listed in the Series.
This means the Sprint Cup will feature a record 10 different manufacturers in 2025.
Steller made the announcement at the conclusion of the championship’s two-day Prologue test at Circuit Paul Ricard, where their new Corvette Z06 GT3.R ran alongside the rest of the GT World Challenge Europe field for the first time.
“The weather did its best to make things difficult over these two days, but it was still good to get back out on track with our competitors and see how we stack up,” said Team Manager Max Daymond.
“We got a good number of laps in, in both the wet and the dry – and it was really wet yesterday [Monday] – which gave us more data to work with as we continue to learn the new Corvette.
“It’s been a very busy start to the year, but it’s also great to be in the position to announce that we’ll also be contesting the Sprint Cup as well as the endurance series.
“This was always our aim, and we’ll be announcing our driver lineup shortly.”
The 2025 GT World Challenge Europe season begins at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11/12 April, with a six-hour endurance event.
