Herberth Confirm Gold Cup Trio

Herberth Motorsport has revealed its first driver line-up for the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup.

Tim Heinemann, Rolf Ineichen and Joel Sturm will share the German outfit’s #92 Porsche 911 GT3.R (992) in the Gold Cup class.

2x DTM Trophy champion Heinemann boasts an impressive 100% class win rate in GT World Challenge Europe, having taken Bronze Cup victory during a pair of one-off appearances in 2023. This included a start for Herberth at the Nürburgring.

Ineichen previously drove for Herberth Motorsport during the team’s assault on the LMGTE Am class at the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Sturm has driven for the Herberth-supported Pure Rxcing outfit in GT World Challenge Europe the past two seasons, helping the Lithuanian squad to the Bronze Cup title in 2023. The German driver is entering 2025 off the back of an incredibly successful past 12 months, where he won drivers’ titles in both the FIA World Endurance Championship and Asian Le Mans Series.

Herberth Motorsport is yet to reveal the drivers of their second entry, the #91 Porsche 911 GT3.R (992), which is set to compete in the Bronze Cup.

The 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup begins with a six-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11/12 April.
