Paradine Competition Sign Sean Gelael

Paradine Competition has announced that Sean Gelael will join the team for this year’s GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup replacing Tobey Sowery who will instead prioritise his appointment as a reserve driver for Rahal Letterman Lanigan’s Indycar squad. Sowery will though join the team for the Spa 24 Hours.

Gelael will share the #991 BMW M4 GT3 Evo in the Bronze Cup class with owner-driver Darren Leung. Gelael and Leung also compete together in the FIA World Endurance Championship, this season sharing a United Autosports McLaren LMGT3 Evo. Last year, they drove a Team WRT-ran M4 LMGT3, taking victory at the 6 hours of Imola.

BMW factory driver Dan Harper will join the duo at select events this season, including the Circuit Paul Ricard season opener, but is set to miss multiple rounds due to his IMSA Sportscar Championship commitments with Paul Miller Racing.

Gelael made his GT World Challenge Europe debut at last year’s Sprint Cup finale, making a one-off appearance for Team WRT and finishing on the Silver Cup podium.

The 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup begins with a six-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11/12 April.
