A 58-car entry with 43 2025-spec LMP3s and 15 GT3s has been confirmed for the 10th running of the Road To Le Mans in June.
For the first time the Road To Le Mans will feature three classes – LMP3, LMP3 Pro/Am, and GT3 – and each of the two races will be held over 60 minutes, instead of 55 minutes that has been the standard duration since the first event in 2016 with the fuel efficiency of the new Toyota turbo V6 powertrain allowing the extension of race length.
The 2025 RTLM grid will feature no less than 9 winning teams and 7 winning drivers from the previous 17 races held on the full 13.6km Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans in support of the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans. There will be 116 drivers and 33 teams representing 15 different nations.
LMP3
The LMP3 grid for Gold and Silver rated drivers will feature 24 cars, of which 19 are full-season Michelin Le Mans Cup entries, with an additional five cars from 2024 RTLM winning team WTM by Rinaldi Racing, M Racing, Bretton Racing, CLX Motorsport, and Team Virage.
Three-time RTLM winners DKR Engineering will field a single Ginetta G61-LT-P325-EVO – Toyota in the LMP3 category, while 2021 and 2023 winners Nielsen Racing will enter a pair of Adess AD25 – Toyota’s including the #7 car for 2021 winner Colin Noble and his teammate Tom Fleming.
It is the first time since the 2018 RTLM races that a Ginetta will have entered and the first since 2021 for an Adess (though the Adess-based H24 prototype joined the grid in 2022)
2024 RTLM winner Maximus Mayer will be racing for High Class Racing in the #20 Ligier JS P325 – Toyota alongside Philip Lindberg.
Swiss team CLX Motorsport has won RTLM three times – 2020, 2022 and 2023 – under the COOL Racing banner. The team will enter three cars in LMP3, including the #97 Ligier for 2023 winner David Droux, who won the opening round of the 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup in Barcelona with Swiss teammate Cédric Oltramare.
There will be seven cars racing under the French tricolour, with R-ace GP running a pair of Duqueine D09 – Toyotas, Forestier Racing by VPS a pair of Ligiers and ANS Motorsport, 23Events Racing and M Racing all running a single Ligier JS P325 – Toyota for their home race.
Reigning Asian Le Mans Series LMP3 champions Bretton Racing will enter a pair of Ligiers, with CD Sport, TS Corse, Reiter Engineering, and Team Virage completing the LMP3 field.
LMP3 Pro/Am
The grid for LMP3 cars featuring at least one Bronze driver in the line-up will see 19 cars on the grid, including the 17 MLMC full-season entries. 2022 RTLM winners Racing Spirit of Léman will be on the grid with a single Ligier for German pairing Sébastien Schmidt and Dominik Schraml.
2019 RTLM GT3 winner Fabien Lavergne will be on the LMP3 Pro/Am grid this year, partnering French driver Romano Ricci at R-ace GP. Rinaldi Racing will enter a pair of Ligiers, including one for Barcelona LMP3 Pro/Am winners Steve Parrow and Griffin Peebles.
In addition to Racing Spirit of Léman and R-ace GP, French teams 23Events Racing, M Racing, and ANS Motorsport will race at Le Mans in the LMP3 Pro/Am category.
DKR Engineering will enter an extra Ginetta for European Le Mans Series LMP3 driver Antti Rammo with a second driver to be announced.
The grid will also see entries by P4 Racing, CD Sport, Inter Europol Competition, High Class Racing, GG Classics, Bretton Racing, Reiter Engineering, Motorsport98 and More Motorsport.
GT3
The GT3 grid for the 2025 Road To Le Mans will feature 15 entries, including the 8 full season cars. The grid will also feature four RTLM winning teams and three winning drivers. The GT3 grid will see Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG, McLaren and Porsche represented.
2024 Race 1 winners Kessel Racing will enter a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s, with RTLM winner David Fumanelli in the #33 296 alongside his Turkish teammate Murat Çuhadaroğlu. The pairing won the first round of the 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup in Barcelona.
The regular season runners will be joined by three additional AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3s (making a total of four from the Italian super-team). Gino Forgiuone/ Michele Rugolo will race the #21, Laurent de Meeuss/ Vincent Abril the #53 and ex GT2 European Series Champion Christoph Ulrich will be joined by Leonardo Colavita in the #55
ELMS Team and MLMC former GT3 champion Racing Spirit of Léman will join the festivities again in 2025 with their #59 Aston Martin Vantage AMR.
Team WRT, previous class winners in the races will run a single BMW M4 GT3 Evo for Canadian-female driver Samantha Tan and Gustav Bergström.
In addition to the full season Motopark AMG, Getspeed add a second Mercedes with their #14 for Steve Jans and Anthony Bartone.
And Optimum Motorsport add a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo for Morgan Tillbrook.
The Ickx family name will adorn a car at Le Mans for the first time since 2010, with Vanina Ickx, daughter of Le Mans legend Jacky Ickx racing with her Spanish teammate Marta Garcia Lopez in the Iron Dames Porsche.

The points awarded for each of the two 60-minute races are reduced from the 25-18-15 points for first, second, and third in the other MLMC 2-hour races. The winner of each race in Le Mans will receive 15 points, 9 for second, 7 for third, and then 6 points down to 1. Only MLMC full-season entries are eligible to score points in each race.
Qualifying for the two Road To Le Mans races will be held on Thursday, 12 June. Race 1 will be held the same day, while race 2 will be held at Saturday ahead of the 93rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
