A record-breaking 76-car entry list for the 2025 edition of the 24 Hours of Spa has been revealed by SRO during a press conference held on the opening day of the event’s official Prologue test.
The largest grid in the race’s history since it became a GT-only event in 2001 is split across five classes – Pro, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Pro-Am.
The nine manufacturers present last year have been joined by Corvette, which is on the grid for the first time since 2011. The American marque, which won overall in 2007 and 2009, is represented by a two-car effort from Steller Motorsport and a single entry by Johor Motorsports JMR.
Pro features 21 cars, representing eight different manufacturers.
Defending winners Comtoyou Racing return with an unchanged line-up of Mattia Drudi, Marco Sorensen and Nicki Thiim aboard its #007 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo. Also representing the British marque in Pro is Walkenhorst Motorsport.
Rowe Racing and Team WRT will field a total of five BMW M4 GT3 Evos, whilst AF Corse – Francorchamps Motors will look to avenge last year’s near-miss with a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s.
HRT – Ford Performance will race with the #64 Mustang GT3, whilst GRT – Grasser Racing Team and VSR each field a single Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2.
Garage 59 will operate a McLaren GT3 Evo, whilst Goodsmile Racing, Boutsen VDS, GetSpeed and Winward Racing all enter Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evos.
Four different teams will run a Porsche 911 GT3.R (992), with full-season outfits Schumacher CLRT, Rutronik Racing and Pure Rxcing joined by Dinamic GT.
The Gold Cup features 12 entries, representing Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche.
The 10-car full-season field is bolstered by a pair of cars from the IMSA Sportscar Championship – the #57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and the #120 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3.R (992).
Nine different manufacturers feature in the 17-car Silver Cup field, which features no additional entries compared to the rest of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season.
The Bronze Cup has swelled to 19 cars, with the addition of Corvettes from Johor Motorsport JMR and Steller Motorsport, and the #222 2Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG.
The field is completed by the seven-car Pro-Am class, which is not a regular feature in GT World Challenge Europe.
2024 winners Crowdstrike with SPS return with its #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo.
They’ll face opposition from Aston Martins from Comtoyou Racing and Beechdean Motorsport Ltd, Haas RT’s Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, a pair of Ferraris from AF Corse – Francorchamps Motors and AV Racing by Car Collection Motorsport’s Porsche.
The 2025 24 Hours of Spa will take place from 25-29 June.
