Nick Tandy these days is known as a world-class endurance racer, ‘Mr 24’, a winner at the Le Mans 24-hours, Rolex 24 at Daytona, Spa 24 Hours, and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, though he will be returning to somewhere close to his racing roots this coming weekend at Brands Hatch.
Nick will be substituting for the injured Jamie Osborne for NAPA Racing UK in the BTCC-supporting MINI Challenge, a family friend of the team owning Osborne family, he’ll be looking to assist the team in their Team’s Championship title challenge alongside Lewis Selby in a two car entry.
Nick is, of course, a regular in the BTCC support paddock via his own JTR Porsche race team in Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

A return to a Mini, though, takes Tandy back to his racing beginnings, in Ministox and then Mini Sevens, before Single-seaters and then sportscars came calling.
