Ali Confirmed At Steller For Endurance Cup Finale

Adam Ali will drive for Steller Motorsport at this weekend’s GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season finale at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain.

Ali, who made his debut for the British outfit at last month’s GT Open event at the same venue, will share the #24 Corvette Z06 GT3.R with his brother Daniel Ali and Lorcan Hanafin.

The 21-year-old Canadian driver started the season at Barwell Motorsport, contesting the opening three rounds of the Endurance Cup in its #76 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2. The mid-season withdrawal of the #76 Lamborghini, however, has enabled Ali to make the switch to Steller for the final round of the campaign.

“It’s great to be racing with Steller Motorsport for another weekend and I’m excited to drive the team’s Corvette again,” Ali said.

“Being back at Barcelona is obviously very beneficial, too, as we have some existing experience and data from the circuit, and hopefully this will give us a good starting point going into this event, and I hope I can help the Steller team end their GT World Challenge Europe season on a high.”

Steller Motorsport heads to Barcelona aiming to rebound from a difficult outing at the previous Endurance Cup round at the Nürburgring, when opening lap contact forced them into retirement.

The Spanish venue is one the team is familiar with, having completed multiple days of testing at the circuit in addition to its one-off GT Open outing.

“Having prior circuit knowledge and experience as a team is hopefully going to benefit us this weekend,” said Team Manager Max Daymond.

“Obviously, one of the challenges of running a new car this year has been arriving at circuits for the first time with it and learning from the first practice session. This weekend we have more data to draw from and we can start the weekend on a more equal footing. We have seen the benefits of this already, with the podium at Paul Ricard.”

Although a title is now out of reach for Steller Motorsport in its first season in GT World Challenge Europe, a win this weekend could see the Corvette squad claim the runner-up position in the Silver Cup.

The final round of the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe takes place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from 10th to 12th October.
