United Autosports has revealed its first driver line-up for the 2025-26 Asian Le Mans Series, which begins at Sepang in December.
Phil Fayer, Ben Hanley and Paul Di Resta will share the #6 ORECA 07 – Gibson, which will compete as part of a record 16-car LMP2 field. All three drivers are familiar with the Anglo-American squad, having raced with the team in the IMSA Sportscar Championship this season.
Bronze-rated Fayer made his prototype debut with United at the ‘sprint’ events at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Road America, finishing fourth in both races alongside Hanley. Fayer will step up to the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship full-time with United in 2026.

“I’m excited to be joining the Asian Le Mans Series with United Autosports,” said Fayer. “It’s a great complement to my IMSA program, giving me valuable seat time on a compressed schedule. I’m especially excited to partner with Paul Di Resta and Ben Hanley and learn from their experience as we push for results together this season.”
2022 Asian Le Mans Series LMP2 champion Hanley is making his return to the series after two years away. Having joined United in 2023, initially as reserve driver for its FIA WEC programme, the Briton has gone on to become a regular in its LMP2 efforts around the globe.

Hanley commented, “Really looking forward to getting going in the Asian Le Mans Series. I raced it a few years ago, but this time there’s the added bonus of going to Sepang, which is one of my favourite tracks. Full focus on reclaiming the championship title!”
Di Resta is another former Asian Le Mans champion, having won the title in 2018-19 with United alongside Phil Hanson. This success remains United’s only LMP2 crown in the series, although it has since added a title in LMP3.
The Peugeot Hypercar driver was also part of United’s last overall win, after he and Josh Pierson swept the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi double-header in 2022.

“I’m looking forward to Asia! Malaysia is a track I’ve always enjoyed,” Di Resta said. “It’s been a few years since I was there with Asian Le Mans … I think it was 2018/19. I’ll be partnering up with Phil, a great guy who is making his racing comeback, and Ben Hanley.
“It’s nice to be doing a championship over the winter months, and the Asian grid is going from strength to strength. I think it’s going to be very competitive. Hopefully, we can go there, have some fun, work closely with Phil, and deliver results for the team. That’s what we’re there to do.”
United Autosports CEO Richard Dean added, “This line-up is very exciting, it has huge potential. Phil is going from strength to strength; he is learning more with every lap during our ongoing testing programme – and Paul and Ben are two proven championship winners in the ALMS.
“They are vastly experienced, consistently fast, committed, and reliable, and that is why they are such an established part of the United Autosports team across multiple championships. Together, I am looking forward to seeing what they can achieve.”
The #6 ORECA will be joined by a second LMP2 entry and a McLaren GT3 Evo for United Autosports’ assault on this season’s Asian Le Mans Series. Gregoire Saucy and Wayne Boyd are the drivers currently nominated for these efforts, respectively, with the full driver line-ups to be confirmed at a later date.
The 2025-26 Asian Le Mans Series begins with a double-header of four-hour races at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, from 12th to 14th December 2025.
