23Events Racing has confirmed its driver line-ups for its Asian Le Mans Series debut this winter.
The AF Corse-affiliated team will field a pair of Ligier JS P325-Toyotas in the LMP3 category, as it looks to build on a successful maiden season in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
The #23 Ligier will feature Matteo Quintarelli, Louis Stern and Isaac Barashi.
Quintarelli was part of 23Events’ Le Mans Cup line-up, and scored a historic victory alongside Lena Bühler on the morning of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the second Road to Le Mans race. The Italian contested last season’s Asian Le Mans Series with Ultimate, scoring two wins on his way to third in the LMP3 drivers’ championship.
Amongst Quintarelli’s co-drivers last term was Stern, who joined the Ultimate crew for the final two rounds having raced with them in the 2024 European Le Mans Series, and went on to drive for them again in the 2025 ELMS.
Barashi, meanwhile, is new to sports car racing after focusing on single-seaters up until now in his career.
The sister #71 entry will be piloted by a trio of Asian Le Mans rookies: Terrence Woodward, Matus Ryba and Ibrahim Badawy.
56-year-old Woodward will be hoping for better fortune than he experienced with 23Events Racing during this year’s Le Mans Cup. The Briton scored two pole positions in LMP3 Pro/Am, and victory on home turf at Silverstone, but frequent misfortune prevented a title challenge.
Ryba is a sports car newcomer, with the 16-year-old having raced in Spanish Formula 4 this year, whilst Badawy is making his first foray into prototypes as the defending Italian GT Endurance Pro/Am champion, a title he secured aboard an AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3.
The 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series begins at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia on 12th to 14th December 2025.
