The KTM X-Bow GT2 will return to the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2026, with defending Invitational Class winner Vantage Racing announcing that it will attempt to defend its crown.
David Crampton, Trent Harrison and Glen Wood will again share the car, which is the first entry into the Invitational Class for 2026.
2025 was the X-Bow GT2’s fourth appearance at the event, but only its second start following a pair of DNSs in ’23 and ’24. Crampton, Harrison and Wood brought the KTM home for its first Bathurst finish, and as the only Invitational entry, this also secured them class honours.
Vantage Racing will field the entry with support from GWR Australia, who are also assisting with RAM Motorsport’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.
The addition of the KTM has grown the Bathurst 12 Hour field to over 30 cars for the first time since 2020. Alongside the Invitational Austrian machine, entries have been placed in all four GT3 sub-classes and GT4.
The organisers are currently expecting more than 10 different brands to participate in the 2026 race, with nine already confirmed, including the debut of Corvette and the return of McLaren.
A provisional entry list is set to be locked in before Christmas, with the entry deadline in early January.
The 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on the weekend of 13th to 15th February 2026.
