Team NZ has become the first confirmed GT4 entry for next year’s Bathurst 12 Hour, with the team set to field an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 with support from Earl Bamber Motorsport.
Team co-founder Graeme Dowsett will share the Vantage GT4 with Chris van der Drift and Aston Martin Junior Driver Romain Leroux.
Dowsett and Leroux are both set to make their Bathurst 12 Hour debut, whilst four-time starter van der Drift is returning to the event for the first time since 2019, when he finished second in Class B.
Team NZ currently races in the Thailand Super Series, where Dowsett and Leroux shared a Vantage GT4 in 2025. The latter also competed in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup this season, winning the Silver Cup at the 24 Hours of Spa with Walkenhorst Motorsport.
van der Drift, meanwhile, has made appearances in various GT series this year, including the Asian Le Mans Series, GT World Challenge Asia and Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
The Asia-based team, which was co-founded by Dowsett and Bamber, has made one previous start at the Bathurst 12 Hour. John Curran, Nick Foster and Craig Smith finished third in Class B in 2016, piloting a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
The 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on the weekend of 13th to 15th February 2026.
