Toyota GR GT3 To Make Public Debut In Tokyo

The Toyota GR GT3 is set to make its public debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon, from 9th to 11th January 2026.

The Japanese marque’s latest GT racer, which is tentatively set to replace the RC F GT3 from 2027 onwards, will appear alongside its road-going GR GT counterpart at the event at the Makuhari Messe.

Both models are scheduled to make demo runs on 10th January, whilst Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda is set to appear at a press conference the day prior.

The GR GT3, which was formally unveiled earlier this month following an extensive test programme across three continents, features Toyota’s first all-aluminium body frame and a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.

Alongside full-size cars, Toyota’s booth will include cutaway models highlighting both of these features. Diecast lovers, meanwhile, will have the opportunity to purchase their very own 1:43 scale GR GT3.
