The entry list for the second round of the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series has been released, with 47 cars set to compete at the Dubai Autodrome at the end of this month.
LMP2 features the same 16 ORECA 07 – Gibsons as the previous event at Sepang, with only a single change of driver, as Stefan Aust replaces Bernardo Sousa in the #22 Proton Competition entry.
Aust was originally set to contest the full season with the team, but had to miss Sepang due to injuries sustained in an accident during last October’s Michelin Le Mans Cup finale at Portimão.
In the 10-car LMP3 category, R-ace GP has completely overhauled the line-up of its #85 Duqueine D09 – Toyota. Daniel Frost, Shahan Sarkissian and an unannounced third driver will race for the team in Dubai, instead of the trio of Fabien Michal, Hugo Schwarze and Pierre-Alexandre Provost.
And in GT, the field again features 21 cars from seven different manufacturers.
Steve Jans, who missed Sepang for family reasons, will replace Shigekazu Wakisaka aboard GetSpeed’s #9 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO as planned, whilst Huub van Eijndhoven has joined the #77 Proton Competition Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) crew in place of Kiyoto Fujinami.
The #54 Vista AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 is set to see significant change, with Nigel Schoonderwoerd and Yelmer Buurman replacing Thomas Flohr and Alessandro Pier Guidi respecitively alongside Francesco Castellacci.
Meanwhile, Andrey Mukovoz and Alexey Nesov have joined United Autosports and its #59 McLaren GT3 Evo for the rest of the season.
Absent from the entry list is the #41 Phantom Global Racing Porsche, which was a late withdrawal at Sepang after a change of circumstances meant they couldn’t field a Bronze driver.
The 4 Hours of Dubai will take place on 30th January to 1st February, and feature a pair of four-hour races.
